STOKE CITY FC:
FREE COACH AWAY TRAVEL CONTINUES 2023-24
Supporters can redeem official coach travel passes when purchasing away tickets
Club has now been providing free travel for ten years
The Potters will travel nearly 6,000 miles in 2023/24 Championship season
Stoke City supporters will continue to benefit from free official coach travel when backing the Potters on the road in the 2023/24 campaign.
Based on round-trip calculations from the bet365 Stadium to the 23 Championship stadiums City will visit this season, fans will travel 5,818 miles supporting Alex Neil’s side away from home.
The Potters’ furthest trip of the 2023/24 Championship will see City supporters make the 478-mile round trip to Plymouth in December, 16 years on from the last meeting between the two sides at Home Park.
Ipswich is the first destination for the Potters in 2023/24, with ticket details now confirmed for the visit to Portman Road. Official coach travel will be available to claim once supporters have purchased their match tickets for the trip to Suffolk.

I think they introduced this when they were in the Premier League and at a time when all Premier League clubs were given £200k per season to benefit their away supporters. Some clubs used the money to subsidise away travel like Stoke and others used the money to reduce the price that their fans had to pay for away tickets.
If I remember correctly however Cardiff did things differently.. Instead of using the money to benefit Cardiff fans travelling to away games the club decided to use the money to make the trip to Cardiff more welcoming for away fans by spending it on upgrading facilities in the away section of the CCS.
Good on Stoke and excellent value for their fans.
Over the last few years I can remember the club paying for coaches to Swansea once, Ipswich once, a trip to Brighton after the original was called called off and of course the Rotherham debacle last season.
