‘ Reading FC ‘ £50mill

According to @JPercyTelegraph Reading in League 1 have agreed terms of £50m takeover deal with Formula 1 team sponsor William Storey. Talk about out the frying pan and into the fire. Deal, which is subject to the EFL’s Owners and Directors test, might not be straightforward #readingfc

Reading will take anything at the moment to get rid of their present owner.

i don't think there'll be any problems with the Fit and Proper Persons test, the last one i remember failing was one of the members of One Direction trying to buy Doncaster, but we have all these dodgey owners passing, sounds like even the 777 trying to buy Everton will pass, and i'm sure the US is investigation them for fraud, laundering, and all sorts of illicit dealings

IF ? Reading were to have a "fire sale" of players if the "sh*t hits the fan" Charlie Savage would be great for us.

After watching his control of the midfield in Wales V Gib friendly (not the greatest test I Know), His dominance of the midfield was top class , his play in dominating the middle reminded me of one of the best midfield controllers (Bastian Shweinsteiger).

Dislike His dad , Robbie, after his refusal to play for Wales after spat with Manager Toshack and his criticism as a TV pundit of other players not playing for the shirt :!: (hypocrisy at its highest).

But, what a player this lad can be and probably will be.

Make some inquiries Errol :bluescarf: :old:

Still don't get why Charlie Savage went to Reading - While there must have been interest from Championship clubs ??

Enquiries were made in the summer before he went to Reading. He turned us down to play for them, if I remember correctly.
