Erol Bulut says two players will not start for Cardiff City unless they change as he plans meeting with Callum Robinson.
Both Callum Robinson & Rubin Colwill have been singled out and need to change before Erol Bulut will start them in a game.
Neither of them have started a game this season.
Erol Bulut:
“I have no new injuries and a few players back.”
“ Everyone is ready and no tiredness, been a good break.”
"Everybody had a good few days to rest, also mentally, and to be fresh."
Bulut takes his Bluebirds to Blackburn away with Jamilu Collins and Callum Robinson now fully fit.
Cardiff need to get back on track after 2 defeats and 1 draw in their last 3 matches.
City will be looking for revenge after their 5-2 mauling away at Blackburn in September ( Cup).

Everyone had a good few days to rest, also mentally to rest, refresh. So we could see in training that they enjoyed their free days. They came back well and the tempo was good. I am satisfied. I hope we can put what we worked on into practice on Saturday on the field.

It was a cup game, we changed the system because of the players we had in our hands. We rotated a lot and had young players with us. For sure, Saturday will be a different game.

Cardiff return to Championship action this weekend against Blackburn Rovers and there is positive news on the injury front, with Yakou Meite, who was expected to be out for a month with a hamstring injury, available for the trip to Ewood Park. Jamilu Collins, who pulled out of duty with Nigeria during the international break, is also available, while Ramsey, Callum O'Dowda and Kion Etete remain absent.

Already he has started slowly to run. He is doing well.
O’Dowda, I think from next week he will start slowly slowly.
Yakou is good, it looks like he will be with us.
Kion needs one more week, so next week he will be with us, we hope.

Erol Bulut was asked why he did not opt for Robinson or Colwill against Watford, Bulut offered a response.

"I have a good reason," he said. "If you see the game, of course I would like to play with two No. 10s. I didn't use Rubin in the game because we didn't want to lose more than two points, if he came on.”
"Defensively, Rubin is not at that level where I want to see him. I told him this. Football is not only offensive, if you lose the ball you also have to be defensive. Because of that, Wints was playing in that position and we can have more support in the defence.”
"Because the game, we didn't control it, we didn't have enough possession. That's why I put [Romaine] Sawyers on, so that we can keep the ball a little bit with him. That's why Rubin didn't play."

Next group of games, do you have targets?
We have two away games and they won’t be easy games. We played against Blackburn in a cup game and we are preparing for that. We have one session tomorrow. Like the four wins in a row, we believe and fight with a winning spirit.

This is not especially about these two. I know what Rubin can give more and Robbo. I see only one side and it’s not enough. I need everybody and everybody has to fight for this.
We have some injuries now and now is the time to show yourself and say, ‘I am this!’

New coach explains 'elite training group'
New Cardiff City coach Darren Davies has explained the ethos behind the club's new 'elite training group' which is set to take place on Thursdays in order to help bridge the gap between the first team and academy players.
Following a spell with Swansea City’s U18’ earlier this year and previously Port Talbot, Barry Town , Tiverton, Forest Green has been appointed individual development coach with the Bluebirds.
One of Davies' primary roles is to set up this new training group in collaboration with first-team coach Tom Ramasut. Explaining how it will be run and how it will aid the players, he said: "Tom Ramasut has been important for keeping that link and he's working hard with me to get the (elite) training group up and running, which the rest of the first team coaching staff have also been really open towards. We're hoping to get the training group up and running in the next few weeks and that's a project we are all excited for.

"It's an extra layer of detail for us as an academy, to really be able to invest in these young people and to give them the very best chance of progressing and having careers in the game.”

Bulut on signing free agents
Erol Bulut does not expect to sign any more free agents until the January transfer window after a deal for a player broke down before the international break.
Cardiff were keen on making a new signing a fortnight ago but there were legal obstacles which "could not be overcome", Bluebirds chairman Mehmet Dalman told Cardiff City Supporters' Trust.
Speaking for the first time since the failed move — the identify of the player is not yet known — Bulut said: "“We are looking always in the market at what we can get. It didn’t go through. We will continue. In January I hope we can do something. It will never end. Always we are looking and working on that.”

Cardiff are able to spend money again in the January 2024 window after the ban on paying fees for players expired. Ucan , who is a three-cap Turkey international, has a contract with Turkish giants Besiktas until June 2024.

The Turkish report claims that Ucan attempted to negotiate a pay rise in his contract extension to up his salary from €400,000 to €1.5m but it was rejected.

Ucan, 29, is a deep-lying midfielder and has started seven out of eight games for the Super Lig club so far this term and is considered a key player. He also started five out of six Europa League qualifiers. He has one goal and four assists so far this term.

Fans on here weeks were right that Bulut does not want Robinson part of his first team.
Callum Robinson is fresh off the back of a goal for Republic of Ireland in the international break and is fully fit, but he's not going to start for Cardiff City any time soon. Erol Bulut having a meeting with him tomorrow to explain the situation.

Erol Bulut has heaped praise on Cardiff City’s 19 year old Cian Ashford after his late wonder-strike for Wales under-21s earned them an impressive 1-1 draw with Czechia during the international break.
Ashford has impressed this season. He scored four goals in the Nathaniel MG Cup game against Haverfordwest County – he scored six goals in four games in the competition — and has since had more involvement with the first team, featuring in the games against Colchester United, Birmingham City and Blackburn Rovers.
The forward, who can play in any of the positions behind the striker, turned 19 last month and will be looking to kick on this season, no doubt. And Bulut believes he has the potential to do that.
“It was a good shot!" Bulut said of Ashford's volley against Czechia. “He’s a good winger. Skilful, quick, strong. Nineteen years old so he can still add to his quality. So he could be one of those players [to step up].”
