Great photo of Ninian Park as I remember it when I saw my first match in 1950. In the 1951/52 season City won promotion to the old First Division, and it was like this every match. I remember being placed quite often to sit just off the pitch with my back against the enclosure wall - Health and Safety was non-existent in those days, yet I never remember seeing any child being hit. I think you can actually see kids sitting in front of the walls on this photo - happy memories!
