MY VIEW: ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT FIRST-HALF & SECOND-HALF AS CA

Tue Oct 24, 2023 8:39 pm

MY VIEW: ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT FIRST-HALF & SECOND-HALF AS CARDIFF FANS SANG TO HUDDERSFIELD FANS IS THEIR A FIRE DRILL AS CARDIFF WERE WINNING 4-0 AWAY.

THIS WAS A GAME CITY NEEDED TO WIN TO GET THEM BACK ON TRACK & AFTER GOING 4 GAMES WITHOUT A WIN / CARDIFF TONIGHT NOT ONLY WON WIN THEY DEMOLISHED HUDDERSFIELD.

Huddersfield fans booed their team off at h-t due to it being so one sided to Cardiff.

Cardiff now go up to an incredible 6th.

Fair play to manager to every player what a fantastic performance.

Why did they get rid of Neil Warnock many Huddersfield fans keep asking.

FIRST-HALF: 2nd min Brilliant from @Yaks75 & @JoshBowler10 in the build-up. @CallumRobinson7 back heels Bowler's cross, it takes a deflection and goes in! One up! (0-1)

12th min: Dimi isn't denied this time! A lovely @Joe_Ralls corner kick is headed home by our giant number 4! (0-2)

Cardiff deserved their lead and had NO problem in defending it.

43rd min: Another @Joe_Ralls corner causes chaos!
@Yaks75 lashes us into a three goal lead! This is class! (0-3)

SECOND-HALF: 55th min: NG what a strike from a free kick 0-4 Goal.
With in mins Huddersfield fans were leaving in their thousands.

62nd min: Ollie replaced @JoshBowler10. (0-4)

63rd min @IUgbo replaces @Yaks75.
Ralls went off for Wintle
Robinson went off for Rubin Colwill

79 min: @Ebouadams replaces Siopis! (0-4)

83rd min Huddersfield hit the crossbar.

Brilliant win.

I think Moore is a decent manager and deserves time to get it right but that decision they made for Warnock to go is looking very strange.

Good play on words there - Eerie Bulut :-)

I've been banging on and on about playing CR47 from the start and I'm going to shout it: I was correct!

Fantastic win - proper attacking play. Bulut got it bang on. Great management

Close to a perfect game.

Won the game in the first half, won the 2nd half with a classic goal, then managed the game well with a clean sheet against a different Huddersfield team in that 2nd half who pressed well for a consolation goal. Good performances from everyone making it difficult for voting for the MOTH.

Let’s play positive and on the front foot till the end of the season . With our squad we don’t have anything to fear but fear itself. Totally different from the negative, poor team selection on Saturday.

Great win vs a dire side to be fair. Let's hope we do the same set up Saturday vs the Carrot crunchers. Ruthless tonight with chances and could have been alot more :bluescarf:

Some great performances tonight from many but Siopis being the star for me. The worst was Ugbo done zero when he cone on hes like a sunday league park player. Glad we made changes to rest others :ayatollah:

Bulut is a very good manager but in truth I expected him to play pretty much the same team as against Blackburn
I feared he may be too conservative
So glad I was wrong
Spot on team selection and tactics
Excellent performance from us tonight
Siopis is looking like one of the best signings we've made in years :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

Excellent win. At times our counter attacking football was real quality however Huddersfield were a poor side and we gifted them too much possession and far too easily at the times. They should have had at least scored one. Perfect result but I am not getting carried away with that anymore than I was too disheartened at losing at the weekend. Bristol will be an interesting test of where we are at.

Cardiff City demolished Huddersfield Town 4-0 to clinch their first win in four games and send them into the Championship play-off places.

First-half goals from the returning Callum Robinson, Dimitrios Goutas and Yakou Meite were followed by a stunning Perry Ng free-kick after the break as the Terriers were completely dominated by Erol Bulut's side.

Good performance and into the Top 6

CR47 has had a few doubters on this board but it's all about opinions.

Until last night Robbo barely had a sniff of the first team for several reasons.

Class is permanent and he has the ability to influence matches.

Hope he's done enough to start on Saturday. We're a better side with him in it.

I really rate him but I was really disappointed with some of his performances when coming on as sun recently.

Hopefully he’s now understanding what Bulut demands because, at his best, he’s a top Championship player.
