We’ve looked stale for weeks

We’ve looked stale for weeks but that was the best 45 for a long time. Everything about it so far. Robinson should have been given this role way before now. We’ve badly missed Bowler and it shows , and Meite looks like a real target man. Still work to do but that was a great start blues.

Bulut got it wrong with Robinson, managers can make mistakes.

Bulut got it absolutely right and Robbo put in his best performance for a long time, same with Tanner.You got that wrong too.

Last night we were only good because Huddersfield were so poor and us real 'supporters' of the club were getting carried away!

Strangely enough, comments were made on the Huddersfield board during the game about how fit the City looked.

I think if the team are going through a bad patch and lacking a bit of confidence, fitness levels can look a little suspect but obviously not last night.

Another thing I picked up on their board was how animated our manager was compared to theirs, despite us winning 4-0 at the time.
My feeling is he probably knows best and even if we have a few bumps along the way, he’s way better than what we’ve had recently.

I agree; and I see that as a positive, as my thoughts are that Erol Bulut knows what his current squad is capable of...

Many have said since Warnock (and a few bods before) that all we needed was a proper manager, who knew the game, knew his players and how to get the best out of them...

Erol Bulut has pulled us around in a very Warnock-like style; only with better football for us to watch...!
