Elliot Lee - Wrexham

Not suggesting in any way shape or form that we should look at him. We are quite blessed now in the attacking midfield area anyway.

Trying to get a grasp of his abilities and how high he could play.

Don't think I've seen him have a bad game but has more than his fair share of great games. Also chucking in a fair share of goals.

Is League 2 just a glorified National League or are 1 and 2 much of a muchness?

He played 93 games and scored 24 goals during Lutons meteoric rise so he must be knocking on the door of Championship quality.

Okay, perhaps I am suggesting he could do a job for us. Anyone else watched him play recently?

I think he's the son of Rob Lee, who used to play for Newcastle.

Certainly seems capable of playing at a higher level. Wouldn't surprise me if he leaves Wrexham if they don't go up to League One.

I assume he is roughly on League One wages so probably only a Championship team could afford him if Wrexham don't go up.

He’s 29 and not usually a starter for Wrexham so would be surprised if he went up to Championship
But does seem to have a knack of scoring important goals
