Ng frustrated by start

Perry Ng says Cardiff City are frustrated not to be higher up the Championship table, despite hauling themselves level with the top six in midweek. The 4-0 win over Huddersfield Town saw the Bluebirds return to winning ways after a run of three games without a victory, and Ng believes the current squad should be aiming high after two consecutive seasons of struggle.


"I think with the signings we have made, we could probably say we expected to be up there," he said. "It's a bit frustrating looking back at games because we could be higher. But we will take it and we just have to keep going.

"I think before the international break we looked a bit tired so we needed that break. Then the first game [at Blackburn last Saturday] was a bit sloppy, but we were back on it [at Huddersfield] and we have to keep this momentum going on Saturday in the derby.

"All games at home are big now for us."

I like that the players have ambition.

Last season it was about avoiding relegation but now they're talking about the top six.
