" Rubin Colwill "

Unbelievable goal by him today.

We all know he has that ability, he needs to do it consistently.

Not only that, but he worked hard and tracked back when he came on.

Long may it continue.

Superb goal, a lot of the other players in that position would have crossed it or squared it but sometimes you just need to unleash...and he sure did!!!

Just watched it for 5 mins on repeat....

Need to concentrate on the things he can do rather than what he isn't great at a bit more often.

Is that the first time the manager has seen Rubes do that in a real game in the flesh ?

He may be injured but I'm told the Rambo influence has been massive and it showed today...

What a goal...!  :ayatollah:

One of our own. Let’s encourage him, he is special

It's interesting isn't it? Bulut told the press what he needed Robbo and Colwill to do and they both appear to have responded. It divides opinion on whether this is a moral motivational tactic, for better words and I do see both sides.

Morison did it and I wondered at the time if it was tough love and many wondered as to why Bulut did it too. I think the former used it for the same reasons as Bulut but severely lacked man management skills whereas as Bulut has used it and got the response and as we know, he clearly is a proper proper manager and motivator of men.

So for me, if a decent manager sees a public 'nudge' as something than can galvanise a players potential, it's a good thing, especially as they are always in the public or fans eyes and will be judged by that, good or bad.

I don't want to jinx it, but as much as I've criticised MD, he may have well unearthed a gem in Erol and full credit to him for that, I'm liking EB as much as I liked NW.

Pleased for the lad to get that goal - And along with Robbo now is the time to cover the lost of Rambo .
Looks like the manager is getting the results from the above 2 - As posted from the above post

The way he moved the ball from one foot to the other to beat 2 defenders was premiership standard , along with the composure with the strike. Hopefully he can unlock his full potential.

Confidence is massive. And hopefully this gives him confidence to push on. And get more consistent performances like yesterday. Be interesting to see who starts 10 at Stoke?

Most on the forum want him out on loan? He just needs confidence to do what he did today a rocket up the ar.e and an arm around from bulut make a namefor yourself.

Monty, I'm not sure 'many', never mind 'most' but your point goes to prove that comments made do stick in the minds of some...

Colwill is our future and with Rambo, he will get better and better once he 'understands' the game better... :ayatollah:

I was one that thought he could benefit from a loan away, but that was after buluts comments and annis posting that they probably wouldn't play until they improved. With robbos games that had just gone it looked like his head wasn't in it, rubin's either, so we at the time thought if all that's the case then yeah a loan would be good. But they responded to buluts comments and we are all happy about that, outlooks change as things change, if Rubin and robbo find consistency of course we want them at the club. I don't understand

From day one I’ve always stuck by Rubin Colwill and said he would def make it and probably the only one from the 12 players they said were all future stars.

He will prove the doubters wrong :bluebird:

Did very well again when he came on today.

Robinson didn't have his best game so maybe Colwill has put himself in the frame to start against Norwich?

Looked a different class yesterday v Stoke.

His first touch is so good.

Bulut’s motivational techniques have worked a treat.

100%.

Confidence must be up. City fans so loud yesterday. When they were singing he’s one of own fan must have made him feel 10 feet tall.

That’s the beauty of away fans who are often much better than the home crowd at supporting players.

Agree on both points last few games he certainly made more of an impact and worked harder.
As for our fans yesterday they were class, my 10 year olds first away and he's already hooked.
Asked if we can just do aways from now on lol
