A forum for all things Cardiff City

Stoke City boss Alex Neil has said he is wary of Cardiff's prowess from set-pieces ahead of the clash in the Potteries tomorrow.
The Bluebirds have been particularly strong from set plays this season, with Mark McGuinness, Dimitrios Goutas and Perry Ng all benefitting with goals from dead-ball situations. And Neil knows he will have to shut that avenue down if his side are to come out on top at the bet365 Stadium.
"They're a well-organised team and difficult to break down. I think they're particularly strong in set plays so that's something we need to be on a guard against. We know we need to play our best," Neil said when asked about Cardiff.
"I think that we've been in a really good place with the ball and without the ball in the last three games and we know we need to chum out one of their performances again."
On the injury front, Stoke are missing a few players. Ben Pearson could return for the hosts, while Ryan Mmaee is touch and go. However, it looks like Tyrese Campbell will miss this weekend's fixture. The Bluebirds' game against Stoke kicks off at 3pm tomorrow.

I agree that we’re better at set pieces of late but u like previous years, I think there’s a bit more to us than that these days.
