Andre Vidigal and Wouter Burger return to the starting XI as Stoke City bid for a fourth league win in a row.
Alex Neil has made two changes to his line-up as Stoke look to complete their longest winning run since December 2011, with Josh Laurent and Sead Haksabanovic dropping out. Vidigal joins Dwight Gayle and Mehdi Leris in the front line while Burger is next to Ben Pearson and Daniel Johnson in the middle.
Jack Bonham starts in goal hoping for his second successive clean sheet after stepping up to replace Mark Travers, who was recalled from loan by Bournemouth last week. The back four is made up of Ki-Jana Hoever, Enda Stevens, Luke McNally and Michael Rose.
Ryan Mmaee is not ready to take a place on the bench but Stoke are hoping the centre-forward is not too far away from returning to contention, with one game after this - away at Coventry - before the next international break.
Stoke: Bonham, Hoever, Stevens, McNally, Rose, Pearson, Burger, Johnson, Leris, Vidigal, Gayle. Subs: Fielding, Gooch, Wesley, Haksabanovic, Junho, Tchamadeu, Clark, Laurent, Lowe.
Cardiff: Alnwick, Goutas, McGuinness, Ralls, Bowler, Grant, Collins, Meite, Siopsis, Ng, Robinson. Subs: Runarsson, Romeo, Wintle, Etete, Ugbo, Adams, Panzo, Colwill, Tanner.

Makes sense to start the same team again.
Good to have Etete as an option from bench, more mobile than Ugbo.
