The Norwich manager might not be there when they play us. Under a lot of pressure , especially as Ipswich are doing well.

They lost again today. Hopefully he survives until our game but we always seem to get teams that just sacked their manager.

If he’s still in charge I expect a win but if he’s given the sack I got bad feeling we’ll be on the back of a manager bounce

Crucial Norwich star suspended for Bluebirds clash

Norwich City defender Shane Duffy is suspended for this weekend's clash against Cardiff City.

The centre-back picked up a booking in the 3-1 defeat by Blackburn Rovers at the weekend, his fifth caution of the season, and as a result he will have to sit out the trip to the Welsh capital.

The Irishman has been a crucial cog in the wheel at Norwich, having played 90 minutes of every Championship game this season, barring Saturday's defeat against Rovers, where he was taken off after 60 minutes.

The Canaries are short on options there, though, with Ben Gibson and Grant Hanley injured, which compounds Duffy's absence. Cardiff were keen on Danny Batth in the last throes of the transfer window, but a deal couldn't be struck and he went to Norwich. He has since played a combined four minutes of league action for the East Anglian club.

Indeed, midfielder Kenny McLean was chosen ahead of him to fill in at centre-back at the weekend.

David Wagner will be in charge for Norwich City’s Championship trip to Cardiff City - after talks on his future that involved incoming sporting director Ben Knapper.

Wagner’s Carrow Road status was discussed by the club’s top brass following the recent away defeat at Sunderland.

Knapper was part of that dialogue while he spends time with his family, ahead of officially replacing Stuart Webber on November 27.

Reports Knapper’s start date is due to contractual issues around his Arsenal exit are wide of the mark.

Wagner insisted he would not resign, immediately after losing to Rovers, and City’s senior figures look set to use the international break to assess their options the other side of the Bluebirds’ trip.

A number of home fans turned on the head coach, the board and the absent Webber during the 3-1 Blackburn reverse.

“I understand the fan frustrations. But at the end of the day, the only thing I can say is we are trying everything, and we work tirelessly to turn this,” said the German. “If I now give explanations, and there is not only one reason, it only sounds like excuses.

OPPOSITION FOCUS | SEASON SO FAR -

The Canaries are currently 17th in the Championship, having made a disappointing start to the campaign.

Wagner’s men have won five of their opening 15 fixtures and have suffered eight defeats.

The side’s last four Sky Bet Championship matches have all resulted in losses, most recently at home to Blackburn Rovers.

On their travels this campaign, Norwich have won one of their seven away fixtures, falling to four defeats. The Canaries have also conceded 30 goals in the league this season, the most in the division. -

For me this is a reminder of last season but this time put Norwich in our shoes.

We were on the down and no one knew why. Teams were coming to us knowing if they get the first goal then they had won the game. We could not score in a brothel.

Norwich are scoring but their defence is very weak. Our defence is strong so hopefully that will stop their attack. If we go on the attack from the start I feel we could win this comfortable.

CCFC Injury update:

Bulut expects Aaron Ramsey and Callum O'Dowda to be out until the middle of December.

Wales boss Rob Page said Ramsey was pushing to be included in next week's Wales camp before he suffered a setback and will now be out for slightly longer than planned. Corroborating Page's summary, Bulut said: "How I know, he was doing quite well and then he got a small pain when he was training, on his tendon. Right now he is resting.

"I think we have to see after this one week of resting. I think his comeback will not change. In my opinion it will be soon. No operation is needed for sure. That’s why the medical department said he has to take a week’s rest and then he will start training.”

"It will take eight to 12 weeks, from when he was injured, now with this one week or 10 days extra, it takes it to 10 to 12 weeks, maybe."

Asked about O'Dowda, Bulut said: "He will be the same, maybe the middle or the end of December."

Norwich City head coach confirmed that Adam Forshaw will be out until the start of December, and that there will be a late call on Grant Hanley ahead of Cardiff City.

"Adam Forshaw will be out until the start of December. Everyone else from Blackburn is fine, and Duffy is suspended.

"We will see with Grant Hanley. He played his first minutes for the Under-21s last Friday, and we will see how he will progress. We will decide what is best for him.

"Danny Batth is an unbelievable professional. I'm very happy with him, he's great to have in the building. With Gibson's injury and Duffy's suspension, we will find a solution."

The head coach also spoke about Ben Knapper's arrival as sporting director and that he feels the support from the club.

"Ben will be in next week, and I spoke with him by phone. This is the situation that we have. It's Stuart's last game, and I wish him the very best.

First opportunity for Cardiff.

Meite beat 2 players to the by line, pull back to Robinson but it was blocked before getting to him.

Another move resulting a shot from Robinson.

Good start by Cardiff.
