Due to planned engineering works, buses will replace trains between Cardiff Central and Penarth, Barry, Barry Island and Bridgend tomorrow

Unbelieveable innit that they have to do this on a Saturday ! Hopefully the Bridgend to Cardiff mainline is running ok ??? Thanks for posting though Annis .... its good to know these things.

70,000 odd people coming up the capital.

Local transport infrastructure and reliability and cost absolutely piss poor in Wales (and UK as a whole generally).

Train service on the continent way ahead in terms of efficiency and usually cheaper. Just a sad joke in the UK and unacceptable.
