McGuinness the biggest shock for me
Greek star Manolis Siopis has named Mark McGuinness as the player who has impressed him most since joining Cardiff City.
He will have had precious little knowledge about Cardiff or the players at the club when he arrived. Indeed, he admitted he knew only Aaron Ramsey. But when asked who had impressed him most out of his new team-mates, he was quick to reply.
"Macca," he said, referencing the centre-back's nickname. "And I've told him already. He knows my opinion about him. I think if he continues like this he will have a big career. I think he will be a Premier League player one day and I hope he is, because he is also a good guy."

Me too,he always had silly mistakes in him.Commitment was never a problem but silly back passes,switching off defensively etc…
But to his credit he has seemed to have improved on his bad habits and fair play to him
Also his loan to a successful Sheffield Wednesday and dropping down a division helped a lot

About the only legacy from McCarthys reign that has been good

The reason McGuinness has vastly improved is the Sheffield Wednesday coaching staff whilst out on loan, now back has continued that learning under our new coaching staff and long may it continue
