Karlan Grant

Sorry but I honestly don't see what he brings to the team shocking defending to let that ball come across for their equaliser and just doesn't add anything to the team.

I don’t think I could disagree more with a post. Apart from his miss I thought he was brilliant today, and his defensive duties are normally carried out very well. surprised you called out Grant for that goal, when the rest of our team done nothing after the first contact apart from Grant.

I think he adds attacking quality. Missed an absolute sitter though that would have killed the game off.

Thought he was one of our better players in the first half, with Bowler and Collins.

Have to disagree with you.

He had a good game today. Really gave the Norwich defense something to deal with. Him and Bolwer were our main attacking threats. With Robinson holding up well today. Shame the subs couldn't put the same pressure on

Its the story since Kieffer, we miss a "9" to hold onto the ball. Until that spot is filled we will always be living off scraps from hard work

TBF he always gives it a ago and is a threat, jsut a shame he cant put away a couple of chances, he could of had another 3 or 4 goals this season. Like today he should of scored and put the game away

Think we are lucky for wingers as there a bit different each one

Works hard but looks to be lacking confidence in front of goal.

Seems poor when through with only the keeper to beat - really bed miss against Watford and today the goalie went to ground so early he had plenty of time to just lift the ball over him or he could have squared the ball to a couple of other players.

Yea he's definitely lacking confidence in front of goal, there were a few opportunities in the first half to hit a curling shot but ended up crossing it
Proper frustrating

Is this a wind up mate?
I thought he was close to our MoM today.

Agree 100% lacks end product and finishing dreadful. If we sign KM he needs to be facing the goal not with his back to it so we will need a winger who goes past the fullback not come inside every time. I would like to see Tanner and Bowler on either side. Or Odowda on the left when fit.

Guess it’s all about opinions.

To be fair to Grant. He doesn’t always cut inside, he does take it to the by line a fair few times too.

He put the ball in exactly the right place a few times today, we just didn’t capitalise!

Agreed, Colwill also put a great ball in and there was nobody there.

I was screaming for him to square the ball when he was through because it is inevitably going over to Jubilee park or tamely straight at the keeper. He’s my least favourite player. Plenty of running and nothing else.

Tbf the keeper made a good save, even Wagner said this.

A standard save by championship standards. I might be a bit harsh on Grant but he still should’ve squared it for a tap in.

Fair point but I was responding to the ‘game shot / Jubilee park’ part.

I’ve noticed a few people desperate for a scapegoat when things don’t go our way typically point their fingers at Grant and I just don’t understand it?

Thought he had one of his better games for us. Should have scored but is lacking confidence finishing wise.
