No idea what the stewards were doing ahead of kick off when we were trying to get into Canton 106.
Checked my phone and it was 2.52pm, they were blocking people from going into the stand from the concourse.
Claimed it was because of the minute’s silence but the players weren’t even out of the tunnel and every other block was letting fans in.
Don’t normally criticise stewards but it was ridiculous and only annoying more and more fans.

How you can complain about stewards on this issue????? it was the same all over the ground it is called respect so there was no noise for the silence I was talking to a steward who explained this to us when we tried to go in and I cannot see an issue at all

Before the players have even come out of the tunnel??
It wasn’t the same all over the ground. I looked to my left and right, 105 and 107 were letting fans through.
Did you even read my post properly? Doesn’t sound like it.

Regularly reading reports about problems with Stewards. The club need to sort it, we aren't cattle.
Having said tgat i've no objection to stopping crowds entering during the armistice ceremony. Just need consistency

My son did stewarding for a while and he says the attitude of those in charge-not the foot soldiers- towards the fans is a disgrace. Not that this surprises me at all because you are hardly made to feel welcome as you queue up to get in. You would think they are paying us to watch the game not the other way round. I appreciate there are some idiots in the crowd but at the age of 67 I dont expect to be barked at by some jobsworth to open my coat. There are ways of doing things with a bit of respect, something which is sadly lacking at the club these days.
