Birmingham since Wayne Rooney took charge:

Lost 0-1 vs. Middlesbrough
Lost 0-2 vs. Hull
Lost 1-3 vs. Southampton
Draw 2-2 vs. Ipswich
Lost 1-3 vs. Sunderland

They have gone from 5th to 15th in the Championship.

Nothing against Rooney personally, but the owners deserve this!

Birmingham are now 18th in the League - I did highlight their history in this League of late ...When he took over ;)

Amazed to sack a manager who was far exceeding in role. Hope they go down now

The Birmingham owners have gone for a high profile name and its backfiring. They sacked someone who was doing an excellent job and now they are paying for it big time with the fans turning against them. They simple do not deserve success with this attitude.

A few of us said this would happen when Rooney took over ,
It was obvious that he ain’t gonna do shit for Birmingham apart from get them towards the bottom end of table

Have to agree with that; they did a Cardiff City and went for the name, despite there being little to support the appointment. Those at DC United say they were 'pleased' to see him go...

To be fair the 5 games have all come against the top 10, and 3 have been away
