Southampton tickets

Not sure of allocation but just got 2 and was told there were 15 left!!!

Sold out very quickly. Nearly caught me out when I bought mine at midday. Has to be one of the more popular away games given the distance and Southampton just down from the Premier league.

Great support. Just like with Leicester and Leeds. Plymouth will also sell out.

But some will rightly question why there aren’t as many away fans for Preston, Blackburn, Boro etc.

Personally speaking I’m a season ticket holder and love to support City and have done since 1977. As a grandad my priorities have changed somewhat so I rarely go away, family first now. It just happens that my wife and my mates Mrs fancy a weekend in Winchester. We’ll probably do the same for Watford too.

Yeah I wasn’t directing it at specifically you.

Will always be reasons that some go to certain away games - location for those who live in that part of the UK, family/friends connection, stadium they’ve not been to before etc.

But some will fairly argue that we haven’t taken good followings to other away games, but have managed to quickly sell out for the games away at the three relegated clubs.

I just wish we had better support at the other away games. I do admit that cost is a big factor for some (including myself given I also travel from here for most home games).

With family commitments and work etc I can only really justify 6-8 a season.
Usually pick Saturday 3 o'clocks, within 3 hour drive lol.

For this one especially, I'd imagine the ease of getting there is a major pull. Loads of people are going by train as it's a fairly short direct service with cheap tickets available. Will be the same for Plymouth away too.
