Players speak out after 'difficult' Norwich defeat
Cardiff City players have taken to social media to vent their frustrations after the weekend's defeat by Norwich City.
The Bluebirds fought back from a goal down to go 2-1 ahead, but blew that lead in the last 15 minutes, shipping two goals in quick succession to hand lowly Norwich an unlikely win at the death. It put a real halt to Cardiff's positive form and saw them slip out of the play-off spots and into the ninth place in the Championship table.
Speaking on social media last night, Yakou Meite, who flew to Paris after the game, said: “Difficult to accept that defeat yesterday, but we win and lose together, focus on next game after the break to make it right.”
Callum Robinson, who scored and produced an assist against the Canaries, wrote: "Tough one to take after being ahead. Back better after the break." While left-back Jamilu Collins said: "Not the result we wanted yesterday but we stay positive and focus for the next one, and many thanks to all Bluebirds fans for always showing 100 percent support."
Meanwhile, both Robinson and Josh Bowler were featured in the official Championship Team of the Week, despite being on the losing side of the match with the Canaries
