Erol Bulut revealed right-back Perry Ng missed the defeat by Norwich owing to a small injury.
Ng has arguably been Cardiff's best player this season and his absence was felt keenly against the Canaries. Although Mahlon Romeo defended manfully in his stead, Norwich did have a lot of joy down his side. But, on a more positive note, it seems it was only a small training-ground injury which forced Ng to miss Saturday's match.
"I don't think it is serious, he had a kick on his knee in training and the medical department said he was not available," Bulut said after the game on Saturday evening.
Bulut also said Mark McGuinness' visibly black eye was sustained during the Bluebirds' draw with Stoke City.
