Gone at 80, where are the years going, still see him as the coach in ‘96.

Great manager RIP Terry Venables

This is so sad and my condolences go to his family, friends and loved ones..

Some on here, including me, will have met Terry on occasions when he visited his mum, who owned The Farmer's Arms pub in Upper Church Village, Pontypridd

Politics apart, he was a great guy who was revolutionary in his approach to football and could/should have taken England to their first major trophy since 1966

Great player and an even better Manager,Mum Welsh so could have played for Wales and I believe he was once touted to be Welsh Manager?

You can normally judge people on what others have said about them while they’re still alive.

Every single player who played for him, with him or even any person who met him have always spoke about him in glowing terms. It always came across that he was well liked and respected, which says a lot.

Also a very very good football manager.
