Newport County went out of existence within a couple of years of going out of the league.

After being reformed as a phoenix club they have ground shared, then played at an athletics stadium before moving into the rugby ground a few years ago

I remember speedway there back in the 60s and 70s.

I also believe that the grandstands there ( just out of shot) used to be at the old Ely racecourse in Cardiff, but were dismantled and moved when it closed.

I remember going to watch them v Everton in the cup as our match v Millwall was off. Turned out that there were lads from all 4 clubs there. It certainly was interesting

I went in that Grandstand once. I seem to remember you could hire a cushion!
