The atmosphere was dead, all I could hear was Albion fans now and again.

WBA didn’t even look that good.

Cardiff were poor tonight.

30th min: The biggest excitement in the first- half was 4 Albion players on the break v 1 City player and they missed an open goal.

0-0 was a fair reflection of the first-half.


49th min: What a great goal by Albion by Sarmiento for Albion 0-1


55th min: made three Subs Ralls, Romeo and Meite, replaced by Ugbo, Wintle and Panzo.

64th min: Robinson replaced by Colwill

75th min: Tanner was replaced by Etete.

WBA got the goal and we did nothing to get back into the game.

WBA did not need to be good to win that one.

Just great game management by West Brom.

Very uninspired second half.

We also looked worse when the wingers switched, Bowler wasn’t as effective on the left, Tanner poor most of the game.

Ralls was good, our CBs were solid.

Definitely need cover at fullback positions.

Really needed to be more composed on the ball in the second half, midfield positions need bolstering, especially the 8 and 6 positions.

Drab game and a great strike was the difference. Little between the teams in the first half. We lacked any quality to break them down after they scored. We simply dont have the quality to be a top six side yet not that WBA were amazing. Missed Collins and Grant tonight too. Runnarson adds nothing. Just cant see it. His distribution is supposedly his strength but it wasnt tonight and he just looks awkward. On to Southampton where strangely I fancy us to be much better and get a result.

Brilliant goal by them.

Neither team at their best but they deserved to win.

We massively missed Collins and Grant, glad they’re back on Saturday.

No clue what Bulut sees in this keeper after a good start to the season from Alnwick. Tanner looks lost at the moment. Missed Grant and Collins. On to the next one

Not enough movement off the ball tonight and we're lacking quality in depth of squad.

Hardly had a chance all evening.
WBA goal looked like a messed up cross to me!

If it wasn't for those two late goals at PNE we'd be on 3 consecutive defeats, but thankfully we're not!

WBA sussed us out and nullified the limited threat we had. Reinforcements and Rambo needed.

1 shot on target at home says it all. We go again vs Southampton Saturday.

Have had time to chew on the result on the drive home, overall we were below par. Runnersson shouldn’t be picked over Alnwick simple.

Ng should have started right back as normal and Panzo should have started instead of Romeo, what’s the point of having a LB available and not playing him until after the hour mark???? That just doesn’t make any sense at all.

Players don’t talk to each other tonight, too many collisions between our players because they were going for the same ball… there were a few simple passes that could have put players in on goal and instead opted for side to side or backwards.

The ref was biased, couple of clear penalty shouts (Meite in the 1st half, hand ball in the 2nd) not given and a lot of fouls on Cardiff players ignored yet a WBA player goes down softly he blew his whistle. Surely PGMOL need to look into the officials but doubt they will, same old same old.

Overall a few poor selections and biased ref. It was one of those games where nothing was going to happen for us, dust ourselves off and go again with a tough trip to Southampton.

They did a job on us. The perfect away win. Frustrate the opposition, 10 men behind the ball from the start. Score with their first (and only?) shot on target. Slow the game down. Hang on for win.

We’re not a bad side, but have a good way to go yet.

Spot on mate one of the worst displays of the season from the first minute to the last we abysmal I was expecting more after our win at Preston everything was dead flat I was glad to hear the final whistle go

That one of the flattest atmosphere at the CCS , there's been in a long time. I'm sat in the Ninian and you could hear individual people shouting, it was worse than poor, you would think we were going down.

If we play like we did for the rest of the season we could very well go down! Shapeless, spineless and pointless!
