I used to love a night game, but these cold winter nights test my resolve nowadays

Really poor attendance tonight, looking at the amount of empty seats I would be surprised if there were actually 10,000 who actually bothered to turn up, no atmosphere and a very flat performance, desperately need a creative midfielder and a striker.

Can understand the family stand being quiet with the match finishing so late on a school night but there were a lot of spaces all over the stadium, takes the piss a bit when Annis can manage to show up from Majorca to watch and local fans can’t

Local fans have jobs and have to work, transport infrastructure in Cardiff is a nightmare on evening games with the game finishing later and later they miss the train or buses home. Glad we don’t have 8pm kick off.

Bebbsboy
I live in mid wales and work
and still come down to some mid week games so a bit of a lame excuse about transport in cardiff.

These kick offs in winter are a real problem transport et al to suggest fans are missing games through lack of ardour is plain wrong practicalities kick in CCFC is not Man Utd. or Spurs

Are the logistics not similar in nature, though, given the distances the ManUre fans travel?

All the usual complete nonsense excuses for a shockingly poor attendance ( including wba) when you consider Plymouth took 1700 to Coventry last night.if it were a premier League game last night there would have been an almost stadium with none of this bollox about it being a school night or it being difficult to get to Cardiff the sad fact is our fanbase only turns up in big numbers for a derby match when a big club comes in the cup or when promotions on the horizon
