Trabzonspor to offer Bakasetas new deal for third time

Turkish club Trabzonspor are set to give midfielder Anastasios Bakasetas their third contract offer in a bid to keep him at the club.

Reports in Turkey state that an agreement could not be reached in their two previous attempts to tie him down to fresh terms but that a third effort will be made shortly. They will offer him a three-year contract and an annual guarantee fee of €1.75million.

The contract will also include performance-related bonuses. Outlet Super-Haber report he is likely to sign the deal as he wants to remain with the club and he is getting what he wants.

Doubt we could compete with that contract...unless he has a dream to play in the prem and we'd be a way to showcase him???

Chris, I don’t envy your position having to go through all this drivel.

I’m not sure if they are truly City supporters, I often get frustrated and say things on impulse after a poor display etc
However I love the Club and nothing stands in that way I don’t follow anyone else or am interested in any other club. So when I read totally negative posts or having a pop at someone who’s just trying to give us information disappoints me and that’s putting it mildly.

I think we have enough banter and supporters of other teams across the border having a go at us without having so called our own supporters having a pop as the lowest of the low.

Anyway mild rant over let’s hope everything works out in the window!

I don't believe a thing that WOL put out. I'm sure we will have other targets lined up if the deal doesn't go through.

Our last 2 January windows have been very impressive with some decent signings

I fully expect our squad to be better at the end of January 2024 than it is at present

Some people are quick to put people down when they share what they know. They read an article in the media which they quickly believe.

No one person is accurate 100% of the time

But there are those individuals on here, some with contacts to the club, who are more accurate than most.

I'm just grateful that they share what they know with the accepted caveat that not all rumours come to fruition.

My personal belief is that there is a deal to be done for him to joing the Bulut Train in January and I am encouraged by Roger and his reliable contact(s)

From what ive read today. He's agree a pre-contract and will see out reminder of the season in Turkey.

Maybe we've been trying to get a deal done where he joins in Jan? Hopefully so as he's needed.
