Besiktas in for Bakasetas
Turkish giants Besiktas are reportedly ready to pounce if Anastasios Bakasetas fails to sign a new contract with Trabzonspor.
The Bluebirds have been heavily linked with the Greek midfielder, who worked with Erol Bulut at Alanyaspor before moving to Trabzon, however the Cardiff manager has insisted he is out of City's price range.
Bakasetas sees his contract run out at the end of the season and numerous reports have claimed that he has refused more than one offer. Trabzonspor themselves had to come out and publicly rebuke those media and social media reports.
He has been linked with Greek clubs PAOK and AEK Athens, among others, but renowned Turkish sports news website Sporx now claim that Besiktas are monitoring the situation.

One thing Cardiff will always have over the likes of besiktas is the opportunity to showcase yourself to premier league clubs.

There is a VERY good chance that he's coming to Cardiff. Don't rule it out yet!
