Erol you Can now spend money, how much money is available?

I don’t know about the finance of the club, how much they want to spend but I know how much we need. We need to discuss this as I have heard nothing.”

I think (maybe more hope
) that we are further down some lines of inquiry than they would have us believe...Erring on the side of caution is undoubtedly the best policy as the club move forward in this transfer window and my only hope is that we do our main business early rather than sweating on the dreaded Sky Sports 'Transfer Deadline Day' to see if we can get some guy called Carlos Kickaball in just to appease (some) supporters...

Its all pretty standard fare.. Don't know the financial stuff, need to ask Mehmet.
In this country, we are used to a general manager wanting to own everything, on the continent the sporting director looks after those types of questions. Antonio Conte used to bitch at Spurs when a journalist asked those sorts of questions...

I suspect they are playing down our finances so we don't get burnt like we have previously..

He knows exactly how much is available and there are several deals already in the pipeline

I personally think, and this is just a guess, that we have three deals already completed but just can't announce them yet.
Erol clearly knows who and what he wants. He's fast out of the blocks and I suspect he knows, exactly how much we have to spend
