Ramsey and O’Dowda have played only 6 games this season out of 26 League and Cup games.

O’Dowda back earlier than expected which is good.

Ramsey around the same timeframe that Bulut said last week.

I don’t think so Worcester. The manager said he was running last month. Now he will start training next month. How long does it take to go from running to training? When they come back they will only be able to play one game in 2 in case they over do it or breakdown again. The goalposts keep on changing. At one time Ramsey was supposed to be okay in early December. Whilst I do feel sympathy for injured players, these days they take far too long to get back. Let’s not forget these players can swim, have massages, physio etc every day. Pelters coming my way I know. But just my opinion by the time they are fully fit the season will be ending.

Nonsense odowda played bulk of the games compared to many in past. How can he be voted our player of season if he doesn't play

Ramsey was always going to be a gamble with injuries. Great when he plays but just not great with injuries

So what’s the point then ? Makes no sense paying someone who can’t play even if it’s not his fault.

Like I put in your topic, there’s a difference between running and training.

With bad injuries, players will be running months before they start training.

And what's your (perceived) problem with that...?

The guy is injured and he needs to recover fully in order to give his best for the team he adds plenty to when fit...!

But that’s my problem Sven. ‘When’ fit. But he STILL isn’t despite the manager giving different timeframes. We all want him back and I’m sure he himself is gutted. Nobody wants to see him back more than me. But the point is we could be better off with someone who can actually play. Losing 2 quality players too long and carrying an injury plagued Talls - not his fault - puts too much pressure on others. That’s the point. Worcester said there is a difference between running and training. Really nearly 2 months!!!

Here we go with the old 'players back from injuries are like transfers' heard this before, get the excuses in early for when not enough players are signed.

Brezza this is why january can’t come quick enough, to have qaulity players coming in to have strength in depth , to help out the older ones , and also ramsey isn’t getting paid when he doesn’t play , I think we did ok with the free transfer stuff this year considering we couldn’t buy f**k all

Absolutely! We are finally building a team/squad with which to move forward but it will never be quick enough for some, for whom patience is not a virtue...

Perhaps some of them could set up an 'Perfect Life' thread, so we can all benefit from their infinite wisdom....!

Erol Bulut hopes Aaron Ramsey will be available for Cardiff City in January.

Bluebirds captain Ramsey, 33, has been sidelined since suffering a knee injury in mid-September.

But Bulut revealed the Wales international is closing in on a return to action.

"He can start with us [in training], in one week or 10 days," said Bulut. "We don't want to hurry him because if he gets injured again, his season is over.

"We have to be really careful."

And on Callum O'Dowda, Bulut said: "O'Dowda is already training with us. We hope next week or in 10 days we can use him."

Bulut is also confident that striker Kion Etete - who was withdrawn in the 64th minute of Cardiff's 2-2 draw with Plymouth Argyle on Boxing Day - will be involved against Championship leaders Leicester City on 29 December.

"I think he will be good," Bulut said of Etete. "Is he at 100%? I don't know, but even if it's 90% we have to use the player."
