What 3 players???

Fri Dec 29, 2023 10:58 pm

The last half dozen games have showed that thoughts of the play offs appear to be a pipedream for this season! BUT We definitely need to strengthen this January, and to build for the future. Then, hopefuly we end the season in the top half, rather than in a relegation battleI. Anything better would be a bonus / shock.
If we are to get in new players then probably, say, at least 3 of the first team squad, will need to be shown the door?

What 3 players would you say we could safely dispose of to make monies available for rebuilding and improving the team?? :?: :bluebird:

The only way we move into the future is if Tan, Choo and Dalman all pop smoke. We need a forward thinking manager and until Tan goes, all we’re going to get is what we’re currently watching.

Players who I would get rid of;

Robinson (sell of some wonga)
Sawyers (was past it last season)
McGuinness (not as good as everyone makes out, and we could cash in considerably)
Ralls (great servant but not good enough for this level)
Tanner (Nowhere near National League standard)
Miete (like a shite Emile Heskey)
Etete (I’ll give him a lift to wherever he wants to go)

Team running out of steam, not good enough players to take over if some are gassed, which is the point we’ve hit.

We are crying out for a goal scorer, another energetic midfielder, another winger, and a left back.

Rubin starting to have his breakthrough season, so not overly worried about a play maker with Rambo hopefully back soon.
But, we need a proper box-box energetic midfielder.

A winger because Meite is a found out one trick pony, and Bowler blows too hot and cold.

A striker to put away the chances as it showed tonight. Leicester pretty much had two chances and scored. Another game where we had our chances, but never looked like threatening the goal.

A left back. Collins gone way off the boil. Need I say anything else on that matter?
