I expect Bulut to make plenty of changes for the FA Cup game at Sheffield Wednesday.
Obviously we have had a lot of games in the short period over Christmas, so this is the chance to give the regular starters a much needed rest ahead of the Leeds game.
What team would you go with? This is what I would select.
Obviously this is all depending on transfers in and out.
Runarsson (if available)
Romeo McGuinness Benjamin Panzo
Adams Rinomhota
Bowler Robinson Tanner
Ugbo

A run in the FA Cup is always good but we have other priorities right now...
Put out a team similar to above but maybe add any 'newcomers' that might arrive early/midweek...
I think that team are capable of a win or draw to bring a replay at the CCS, where we may well be in a better position squad-wise and be able to field a stronger side in front of our supporters...
If not, some players might have a long, lonely second half of the season...

Chris, we unfortunately know by now that these people would rather just criticise the original post instead of offering up their own opinion.
I guess they have to find something to moan about as we won yesterday.

I'd go with a team at almost full strength. We're probably not quite good enough to make the playoffs and don't think relegation is even a thought so a cup run could be a good shout.Looks like Goutes will be missing and maybe give Panzo ago at left back but best available 11 otherwise.

Could not agree more , c’mon city let’s have a magical cup run and give the fans/club/directors/ a big ‘lift’.

Both Colwills, Panzo & Romeo. JC and NG need a rest.
Bowler & Tanner to start.
Etete with the "get some goals because Kieffer is on his way" chat in his ear.

I agree with you on this. ATM even if we somehow sneaked into the PO's we wouldn't get passed Leeds/Southampton/Ipswich. I am not saying we should give up on the league (the PO semis would generate monies) but a Cup run is there if we want it and we should take the opportunity

We don't play Leeds untill the 13th so they have a Saturday to the following Saturday to recover so I expect a full team out tbh. This old players playing two games a week cuts no mustard with me with managers moaning about games is all I see these days. Its a job and a highly paid one, get on with it in my opinion. We should have a few new faces by then also if you go off the bullshit guess work you read online but we shall see. Modern football and fanny players

Spot on, Ned; always makes me larff when they come back all hurt when you point it out, though...!
Negative threads seem to draw a certain element in their droves; but put a positive one up, like how our club are the only ones trying to sort the Sala family out and they're like the Red Arrows Display Team, leaving a smoke trail as they disperse to all parts of the ethernet...!

The same team or similar that played Brum in the carabao. Did well.

Strong team please too many clubs are not treating the FA cup with the respect it deserves and there's nowt better than a cup run to get the fans together.

I would definitely NOT play our strongest team against Wednesday. Number one reason is so that key players do not get injured. We have 20 league games to go so why risk it, especially as the manager's and board's aim is to challenge for one of the final 2 play-off spots. Whether we're really good enough doesn't come into it, especially as we're only 3 points adrift.
It's also not about protecting pampered players who are being asked to play 3 games a week. That's nonsense. At this stage of the season many teams are running on empty, especially those with a small squad so if the opportunity arises to rest their bodies, they should take it.
Personally I would like to see a handful of youngsters drafted in, especially the Colwill brothers and integrate them with our usual bench warmers. Freed from the usual constraints of league football they may even surprise us.
