Rumour up here in Wigan is that their match against Man Utd has been put back to 8:15 Monday to give the united fans enough time to get up here from London

Looks like it's on ESPN+ for anyone in the USA.

VAR and anyone watching is bored, hope our game is a tad more exciting.
Agree about the sending off being a terrible decision though.

Foot was bit high but not force no malice in tackle all can say is the referee needs to go to specsafers if he did not see it at the time.... ref could only go to monitor if var says he was wrong.... so means var is refereeing the game not the match officials 0-0 final score

It finishes 0-0 between Crystal Palace and Everton in the opening tie of the round.
An awful game.
The only real talking point will be a poor decision by VAR to send off Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

That was only time var was involved in game ....they should have stayed asleep no wonder English refs are pathetically bad they simply cannot referee a game using there own judgement need var to hold their hands..

Agree with that.
Sunderland will have to take more risks now, could play into Newcastle’s hands.

Coventry and Ipswich beat lower league opposition to progress. Leicester win at Millwall.
First mini-upset as Maidstone United beat Stevenage. So there will be a non league team in the fourth round.

Newcastle totally outclass Sunderland and easily win 3-0.
Ten 3pm kick offs will follow.

No real shocks in the 3pm games but Bristol Rovers draw at Norwich to earn a replay.
