Sunderland host Newcastle in the FA Cup on Saturday.
They have had to give Newcastle fans some of the home end.
This is how they have decorated that part of the stadium for the game.
Wow, can’t understand why they would do this for their biggest rivals. Would be livid if we did this for Swansea or Bristol.

We don’t do anything close to that for away fans at CCS, we just have a few signs thanking them for travelling however many miles they have. No different to what all other clubs do.
But this is unbelievable. They’re their biggest rivals and making it look like a home game for them.
If you look closely on the second picture, there’s even a sign that says “cheer up Peter Reid”

Looks & sounds like some internet shenanigans to me. There's no way Sunderland are giving Newcastle any more than they're required to give them & certainly not in the home end, no way, no how, not ever. They could fill the ground 10 times over with their own fans so why would they?

As has been said above, away clubs are entitled to more fans in the FA Cup.

Sadly, in the new stadium, we once did for them Jacks; and even provided a choir...!
All this ever does is boost the away team and on current form, Newcastle really don't need to be scalped by their local rivals right now...!

Where did I say that wasn't the case?
I said "they're not giving them any more than they're required to give them".

Thought away fan's are treated to their teams games on the tvs and dont we regularly get praised voted best provider's for away fans? At Sunderland doesn't matter if there is just pink walls ncastle fans will make it like home end with the extra fans allowed..

Sunderland release a statement apologising to their fans:
Sunderland AFC acknowledges that a serious error in judgement was made in relation to Black Cats Bar earlier this afternoon.
We apologise to our fans for the understandable concern they have fairly voiced in response and this sentiment is shared by the Club’s Ownership Group and Board of Directors, who have requested an immediate review is undertaken to determine how this process unfolded.
A direct decision has also been taken by the Ownership Group and Board of Directors to return the space to its original state and we once again apologise to our supporters that this was not addressed sooner.

Shows how far out of touch with the fans they are.

Be fair in life, but firm. Snivelling twattishness gets you nowhere.
Think that’s why the WAG has failed. And the BBC. Snivelling Kuntz.
