Bakasetas fee and wage demands revealed
Trabzonspor want £1.3m (€1.5m) for Anastasios Bakasetas, with fellow Turkish club Besiktas readying a bid to lowball them £430,000 (€500,000).
That is according to Turkish media, who also claim that the Greece captain is hoping to secure a deal worth £1.73m (€2m) per year, which equates roughly to a £33,000-a-week contract (€38,000).

That transfer fee doesn't appear excessive but I'm not sure our club wouldn't prefer to pay that sort of money in wages...
The wages of £33k per week wouldn't be beyond us, if we get the right player; and Bakasetas would come into that category...

It still baffles me why a footballer should ever get payed that amount of money .

We will end up with nobody coming in throughout the window and it’ll be a scramble on deadline day to get bodies through the door.
