Out goings:
Joel Colwill needs to be given a chance in the first team squad.
Kieran Evans, Andy Rinomhota and Romaine Sawyers certainly fall into that category. Cardiff wanted to get them out of the door last summer but could not find the right suitors for them before the window closed. They will hope that is not the case come close of play on January 31.
Bulut is unafraid to make bold calls. He brazenly said of the squad: "We have to put the level higher. Our level is already a level up, so some players will have a problem with that, and we need to go up another level.”
If Cardiff are looking at bringing players in on loan, then they have to free up a couple of spots. Alex Runarsson has been poor when afforded the opportunity between the sticks and it would not be a huge surprise if he was to go back to Arsenal. Similarly Jonathan Panzo, who has barely been used, might want more game-time and his parent club Nottingham Forest would surely like to see him get more minutes.
Cardiff will also once again try to get Vontae Campbell out of the club, that we can say with certainty. He won't be featuring for the first team and is 22 now, he needs to find a new club. Goalkeeper Rohan Luthra, winger Kieron Evans, midfielder Cameron Antwi, right-back Jai Semenyo and Cian Ashford, who are training with the first team, will all be considered for loan exits.
