I always rated Mendez Laing and was gutted that he left. We havent had a tricky winger since imo

He had to go though, the club gave him enough chances and he took the piss.

As for Collins, he’ll always score goals in League One. The same goes for Etete. But the higher level of Championship defenders means they’ll struggle in this league.

He’d already done it before but the club gave him a second chance as long as he didn’t do it again, but it wasn’t long before he did do it again.

So he had to leave, club had no choice really.

City had No other choice to get rid and as much as I liked him as a player, City did the right thing.

You’re absolutely right. I always liked NML, one of Warnocks better transfers. But what he did warranted his release from the club.

holy sh*t, he was selling drugs to the youth players ? i just always thought he was caught taking drugs, never knew it was that bad

Why the hell were the police not involved if he was selling drugs as well ? The club were 100% correct in getting rid of him

Principle talks with us, though; I'm not sure I'd want Mendez-Laing hanging around with kids susceptible to his wares...

I know things did not end well for him at our club but i loved his pace, skill and power with the ball.

Both of them played well last night against Burton. Mendez better out of the 2. Collins did miss a sitter but on the flip he scored a decent header
