Why do we inconvenience the home fans in this instance? I don’t get it. I remember being kept in particularly unwelcoming grounds for half hour after the game. You just accept it as part of the day out

Away fans always receive far better treatment at Cardiff than City fans do when we travel away. It's been that way for many years now.

People will still moan they weren’t told about it, like they did last time

They even delayed our train so that they could keep us behind so no reason not to do same for leeds...its a long way around down Hatfield Rd Bessemer Rd for city fans... far to cold to keep fans standing in street for an hour absolutely no thought given to home fans welfare.

Cardiff City FC look after your own supporters first. Away fans only come here once a year. Let them be inconvenienced.

I see no logic in this. There was a bit of trouble last time, I travel away and used to a delay whilst the home fans disperse. I'm not being a Karen but it doesn't make sense as the Heddlu move any youth on who want to stay back so why the delay on a major route home for our fans?

OK, I am a little bit of a Karen as it means a longer walk around to the Cornwall or a schlep into town for a beer.

They’ve got to allow the Welsh Leeds fans time to run and hide their Leeds tops

At least this time they have said 45 minutes which is more realistic.

The last time they said 20 mins and it ended up being an hour !! To be fair, most people did know about it, but the police mislead them on the length of time.

Ninian Park was a fortress & a nightmare for visiting fans now we roll out the red carpet for them, next we'll be sending them home with a goody bag.

Is it right to have elderly young kids stand around for an hour waiting for plod to say fans have gone? Let's hope it doesn't rain .... think their actions says more about their inability to manage more than 10 people than anything else! Total lack of care & consideration towards people

It is but at least this time we can make a decision based on a proper estimate of the time. I still think it’s the minority (the away fans) that should be held not us but that’s probably a police decision not the club.

This time I’ll be leaving the car at home and having a couple of pints instead !! Every cloud …………. !!

Nothing as changed in 50 odd years as this always happened at ninian Park sloper Rd closed for away fans togo to car park... obviously nobody looked at the problem or if did they said its only home fans who gives a toss!! Doesnt effect me as go up bypass from car park .

50 years? Really? I don't ever remember Sloper Road being closed for away fans to use back in the 70s & I almost always caught the train from Grangetown station to Barry after most home games without any trouble, and what car park are you talking about? I don't remember much of one except across the road up a slight embankment just after the football pitches. I mean I am old so maybe my memory is playing up.

Car park was opposite grandstand and if you were in canton stand you could not go up sloper Rd when police stopped fans going past car park to allow away fans from exiting lower grandstand to cross Rd into car park which was shared with city fans ... of course that took time because there were not to keen to leave ... obviously only happened with high risk games
