A serious question

If we can’t unload Rinomhota, Sawyers, etc., does it mean we can’t get any strong loan players in for the positions we need?

This is because we have to replace Ugo with another forward and defo have to replace the keeper and Panzo who have returned to their clubs. Therefore like for like.

Would be pointless getting loans to replace them. You can only have five in the matchday squad.

If you’re right about us signing loans for GK, CB/LB and striker then we would have on loan:

GK
CB/LB
Striker
Grant
Bowler


No player would agree a loan move if they knew there was an issue with the club having too many loans for them to get in the squad - neither would the club who loan the player out.

So, if those are the three positions we sign loan players, the rest will have to be permanent.

Bulut himself said today it makes no sense to have more than five loan players and he’s right for these reasons.

This just goes to show things are in motion both ways...
