“ One more home win “

Fri Jan 12, 2024 11:52 pm

We need just one more home win this season to beat the total number of home wins we had in the league last season.

We also need to score just three more goals at home to beat the amount of home goals we scored in the league last season.

It shows an undoubted improvement
Although I would say it will be the points we have won on the road that will see us achieve a respectable finish in the league
QPR, Sheff Wed and Preston huge wins especially

We had a good start with Ramsay . Without Ramsay we are as bad as last year .

That’s the last six games. We’re around mid table for the whole season at home. Last season we were very close to the bottom on home form.

We won two home games with Ramsey and lost against QPR. We’ve won four without him.

We have played 20 games without him and won 9 out of the 20 that approx 45% win When Ramsey played we won on approx 33% so we have actually done better from a stats point of view However saying that i think we would be in a play off position if he was still in the team
We are a lot better than we were last year even without him

Just goes to show the turgid, shockingly inept, woeful football last season (and the season prior wasn't a lot better!).

Damn fortunate we weren't relegated.

A marked improvement this season and I hope we keep improving.

Just to update you all . We are now bottom in the form stakes - last 6 games at home - is it sinking in yet how poor we are .
