TAN APPEARANCE LAST WEEK?

Sat Jan 13, 2024 6:37 pm

Was it to sanction signings or to tow the line with his mantra we are not paying silly money does that mean weekly wages transfer fees its anybodys guess but 2024 at the moment looks like a sh.t pit and can anbody see us signing 6 players like bulut said he wanted and hoping that tan backs him in the window "why hope" its as if he never discussed or its bulut get out.

Judging by Bulut’s post match conference after Leeds, I reckon he’s had players lined up, deals agreed and Tan has pulled the plug.

I agree, something has changed this week...

You may well have hit the proverbial nail on the head with that comment... ;)

We will see; but those who said 'deals were (effectively) done' weren't as ill-informed as one or two would have you believe...

For Erol Bulut to seem so low means 'something' hasn't gone to plan (to date) and now Nayir has gone elsewhere after wanting to come to the Championship...

Its not looking good and if tan has put the spoke in last week

like i said last week with his team failing in belgium also
then we are back on the merry go round of scrating around in bargain basin
even though we are free to spend 20 million plus.

Did tan lást time around fail to pay up thus incuring the embargo so he did not have pay
"silly money"on transfers and high wages
So only loans

And is he meddling again

Because bulut has not had his 6 signings in early
and the words "i hope" he Tan backs me sounds very strange.

All incoming trabsfers are off. Unless the are free and dont want wages.

‘Meddling again’. Paying money that is basically his?
Nah, he should throw more money at the club, regardless of any consequences to his own pocket and possibly FFP.

You know very well what i mean by meddling basically laying down the law and how it is we all know he' s the owner and its his toy to do as he pleases dalhman included.

It sounds from bulut that he has been told you are not getting what you want

What is a matter with our owners do they not want to succeed in football?

There always seems to be a problem for us and if tan thinks he has spent enough fair enough but cut us loose so we can move on
we are like a boat tied to the harbour always
and never able to sail.

Or maybe his bids for players / wages offered have been bettered by other clubs.

That scenario doesn't fit in with what people want to think.... nothing written in past few days have any factual basis just people's interpretation of what they want it to be.

"Read" erol bulut
Hard to hide true feelings

It seems pretty much black and white what i have said also
Bulut
financially
I don' t know where we are
And suggesting also the club have decided not to spend much money
Which is same as what i said.

Like any business, what goes on behind close doors is most times not what we think will happen.

We can only wait until the window closes then we can judge what we have or not.

Think im going to wait til the end of the window before passing any judgement.

That's precisely what I've said previously...... what is strange is no where are the quotes from club stating no money no backing of manager no signings yet past two days people going ott that this is what's happening ... jury definitely out on bullet and club until window closes.

Re: TAN APPEARANCE LAST WEEK?

I got the feeling a couple of week ago, when MD was talking about staying within the FFP rules, and EB was saying that when Ramsey and O’Dowda are back it will be like two new signings, that there were problems,,, I mean that there wasn’t going to be that influx of five or six “quality” players that EB wanted,,, or asked for. There’s still time, but VT’s appearance on Boxing Day suggests to me that Tans grip on transfer dealings has totally overruled that of Dalmans….. who we were all led to believe was “running” the club?

How many times have we said the same the last 5/6 transfer windows what you have basically just stated the obvious wait till the window closes until we assess with the same results
basically a failed transfer window almost like a broken record and hardly worth debating and giving opinions on the forum .Its
Like been told of by a teacher or parent.

You may end up being right about money but the quote came from the person writing article not bullit regarding suggesting cutting back.... plus your interpretation of what bullit said.... most managers give wish list of players they need and then leave it upto others to do the deal so wouldn't expect a manager to know the financial aspects of any sighnings ..that is my interpretation of that quote. Hopefully in 17days you'll be wrong
About this subject but suspect none of us will be entirely happy rather way.

Monty ffs we were in embargo last 3 so how can they be a good window? As for previous to that the managers had a lot to answer for in the quality of players signed... I guess its OK to rubbish transfer window after 13 days like you and others but not OK to say wait 31 days for it to close... at end day when window closes it will be the argument that it was good or bad and that will come down to opinions....

i never said anything about a good window? i was basically saying you say the same every window wait and see as if we cannot debate it.

The window as been debated on here very vociferously as well ... all windows I take same view wait until its over before having hysterics about who we did or didn't sighn? What's better waiting and see or going ott with club like people are doing now? You along with many others are using your own perception as to what club or bullit mean when they say something ... all for debating what's happening regarding sighnings but let's use factual quotes to debate it..... if it helps I'm not that confident we will sighn enough or enough quality to push for top 6 ... question? 3 points off top 6 do you think tan would just say I'm cutting back my expectations and settling for mid table and not promotion? Promotion is possible for anyone finishing in top 6 that's a very good incentive for tan
