The way things have gone off the boil, we are realising just how good of a player Ramsey is. (I know we knew this anyway, but it’s had a far bigger impact than we thought)
Yes, we still got results after he got injured, but the football slowed down.
Ramsey moves the ball so quickly in that midfield, it turns defence to attack in an instant. He also is one of two players in a squad that can get the ball in a tight space, get out of it and get the pass off. (The other being Rubin)
We only get into the play offs or close to the play offs on two conditions.
When O’Dowda and Ramsey are fit, they stay fit for the rest of the season. If Ramsey is back in the next 2 weeks, and can stay fit that’s a HUGE boost.
Also, we need a goalscorer at the top of the pitch that can hold the ball up.
On a final note, I think everyone can see JC is shot to bits. I think having the likes of O’Dowda back to help out at left back and take the pressure off JC for a few weeks will be a massive help.
Somehow, at time of writing we are still only 3 points off the play offs!
I’m no longer confident that we sign anyway this transfer window, which is poor from the board if that’s the case. Means all the momentum we managed to generate in the first half of the season goes down the pan.
With how close we are to the play offs, I think the board should be backing the manager!

Yes we have because he is the one player that consistently looks for a forward pass and also got the skill to find the killer pass .... at present we look to find killer pass towards our own keeper!! And going forward takes more time than a snail moving.... think we spend more time facing our own penalty area than oppositions.

…plus he keeps the defensive midfield and back four opposition on their toes due to his undoubted ability thus preventing them from piling forward regardless of the current ‘threat’ of our midfield / strikers. (In theory).

Yes simply put we are no threat to opposition and they take advantage of it.... yesterday leeds played 10yrds further up the pitch because we had 10 players in our ownhalf when leeds in possession in their own half.. the no threat bit applies to every game so add moore to Rambo and it will change everything you hope

We actually were doing better after he became injured.
But We do need quality like Ramsey, but Ramsey can never now be relied on.

100% most teams we face end up just leaving 2 CBs back to pass the ball around and cause there no pressure or worry about our midfield they just move more players up the pitch

He takes two players out of the game straight away.
If we had Moore , it would be another two.
That makes things easier for players like grant , bowler, meite and Tanner.

Yes we have in certain games - his present on the field would have seen some games play out differently .
