As widely reported Ryotaro Tsunoda has joined Cardiff City on a permanent deal and so registered as a Cardiff player, but will go straight out on loan to Vincent Tans Belgium Club KV Kortrijk who are Absolutely Rock Bottom and Tans needs to some how save the club from relegation as the valuation will drop.
KV Kortrijk under Tan have been in Disarray with managers / coaches etc walking out and saying Tan had been arrogant and virtually not knowing how to run the club.

If we are so close to the FFP I just don't get why we have signed someone we, CCFC, are not going to use this season!

I believe Japanese players struggle to get work permits unless they are regular internationals,but it is easier to get a permit in the EU, then as he has played in Europe he gets more points for the permit.

Nothing unusual but it would seem we have used up X amount of transfer funds (which are apparently still very limited) on signing a player essentially for a different club this season
Bit strange how the transfer is still not confirmed by either club though so it may not even happen

Apparently he was allowed to leave to have a chance to play abroad.
So possibly a free transfer.
Also I'd assume the Belgium club will be paying the wages.
