His last role was player recruitment at PAOK under ex Shakhtar chief scout Jose Boto

More likely all this internet BS about him leaving is just that.

Don't you think he as already got dossiers on players most scouts do... perhaps this as been in pipeline for awhile and he came prepared? Time will tell ... but it is strange time to employ him unless I'm right with esumpion.

I guess he didn't wake up yesterday and decide he was a scout, so must have loads of data across Europe.

Other than Buluts recommendations we have had a shocking 18 months of recruitment

From what I can see of him online (admittedly not much) he seems to have done scouting projects in South America including Colombia so maybe he has a broad knowledge of more than Europe and certainly more than our old scouts who only seemed to focus on Scotland and Ireland.
Hopefully its a positive appointment, we certainly need something right now.
