Newport win at Eastleigh tonight.
So they will now play Manchester United at home in the next round of the FA Cup.
They will also get TV money because it will be live on BBC One.

I know they hate us, but pleased for them.
They'll have a lot of money coming in for this.

I hope they disappear back into non league the embarrassment of Swansea sailing past us was one thing, can you imagine Newport getting to the premier league and still struggling?.it doesn't bare thinking about

VT may look at that and think if his team could be arsed with cup competitions, we may make some dollar (draw dependent obviously).
Look at the Worzels last night - there's a bunch of boys that obviously enjoy the cup competitions.

Aye, quite a few Hammers didn't fancy it last night.

Definitely! I agree as Newport despise the City.

A big pay day for Newport, for certain.
They have a habit of performing well against higher placed opposition and with all the highlighted problems Man Utd currently have, it could be interesting.
Having said that, with more of the first choice stars due back like Casemiro, Shaw and Martinez in the team, along with the fact Ten Hag is likely to play a full strength side with so much pace up front, now they are out of Europe, I'm not expecting Newport to progress beyond this round.

Newport are installing 1,000 extra seats on a temporary basis for the visit on Manchester United, taking the capacity to 9,000.
I went to the first round match v Oldham and it was ok , and a fairly decent set up.

They are putting the extra seats in for the Wrexham game Saturday, and leaving them in place for utd game.
