He let his contract run down, downed tools and left Rangers for nothing. On top form (1 game in 6) he is an exiting player but doesn’t score anywhere near as many goals as he should. He’s stated ( or at least a Scottish tabloid has stated) he’d like a move back to Scotland or the English Premier League.

He ran some good European Teams ragged and when he’s on it he’s quality, not only attacking but he chases back and closes down as well. I just don’t know where his head is atm. Bulut may be the man to get a tune out of him, it’s a risk but most transfers are. Rangers paid £7m for him, what’s his value now

Kent was brilliant for Rangers during their European run, he's lethal on the counter.

However, his strongest position is on the left meaning he'd be competing with Grant. Not to mention I'd assume he's on a fair wage in Turkey. This all sounds like paper talk to me, I'd be very surprised if there was anything substantial in it.

I would look at putting Grant as either a 10 or striker so we could potentially play both
