Championship side Cardiff City are in negotiations with Vålerenga to buy Serbian striker Andrej Ilic (23) after making an opening bid. Ilic scored 11 goals in 16 games for the newly relegated Norwegian club.

But that’s probably because atm we have nobody that can get on the end of crosses atm. I’d imagine that attacking tactics would alter if he or a similar type of striker signed.

I think every story Glen Williams starts about player recruitment very rarely comes to fruition, so I think he should keep his mouth buttoned until the signing has been made. Vague rumours mean nothing and normally just lead to disappointment. These stories always seem to commence with Glen.

Depth has been a killer for us so far.

If this happens, the calibre of defender he's gonna be up against will rise 10 fold...he'll be raring to go though I bet. Fingers crossed he's less than 1 mill and proves to be a good signing
