" Plymouth strong at home "

Sat Jan 20, 2024 12:21 am

The home and away tables in the Championship show that Plymouth are much better at home, than away.

They drew 2-2 with us at CCS on Boxing Day.

They are ranked 7th at home with 24 points from their 13 games.

Away, they have just 6 points from 14 games. That ranks them 23rd.

Our away form actually ranks us higher than our home form. We are ranked 9th away, with 17 points from 13 games.

By comparison, we are 15th for home form with 20 points from 14 games.

They’re stronger at home.
Can’t see us getting anything today.

2-0 Plymouth with the ex Jack running the show

Exactly the kind of game that we always lose as we don’t have the grit or dog to grind out a result. Bulut will go with the same tactics and change the wrong players at the wrong time. I can see us getting done 3:0 with another shambles of a performance.

The only good that can come out of today is with the limited amount of first team players available, he gives the likes of Joel Colwill, and Cian Ashford a suitable chance to impress.

I cannot see us getting anything today, although we are better away from home
They were the better team last time we played for large periods and have brought in a few players
I am still fuming over the leeds no show and that is probably clouding my judgment, but I just dont see how we get a positive result here

Clearly a tough game; but beaten before we even kick off...? :o

Regardless of the post-game result, let's hope none of you defeatists get called up to the trenches, eh.. ?

Predicting a team that’s on a poor run of form to lose isn’t defeatist, it’s common sense.

We'll respectfully beg to differ on this one. I'm all for declaring a tough game but as a lifelong Bluebird, I've seen us produce too many good results against better than Plymouth...

The predictions poll is on the Match Day Thread... :ayatollah:

True mate. Let’s hope for two winners in injury time again. More positive now I’ve seen the team

Who needs a crystal ball? Our goal aside, sadly I was spot on.

Yeah Sven tricked me into being positive and sadly we were as shite as I expected.
