Very Worrying

Sat Jan 20, 2024 4:56 pm

No fight and no effort.

Night and day between Plymouth and cardiff in regards to effort today. We were extremely pedestrian, on the other hand Plymouth were making lung busting runs giving 110% effort. Has bulut lost the dressing room? Something is clearly a miss. We look a complete different side to earlier in the season.

The problem is we have to many players who know they will be playing every week, no competition.

Think you're not far off but think there is an obvious stand off between the manager and a certain player causing unease in the camp.
To be the manager is boss so any trouble makers need to be shipped out at whatever cost.

There may be something in this. To begin with Bulut got the best out of the limited squad at his disposal.
However, most displays in the last couple of montha have been poor. Most worrying is the lack of figjt and urgency in our play.

Bulut knows, (as we all do), that we need 3 or 4 new players. Listening to his post match interview Bulut may move on if he doesnt get new players soon. I hope he gets some, amd we stick with him.

[I must say, however, some of his subs recently have been baffling.
Take off Tanner and put on Romeo after 45 mins, when we were doing ok.?!?
Take off Rhinamota when he was one of our better players?!?]

Taking Tanner off was the right decision; but Bowler was the more obvious replacement...

Of course things are 'worrying' though and I don't think the one poster was too far away with his 'one player causing unrest' comment...

We've all been in work situations where a good group is spoiled by one individual and it changes again when said individual moves on...

That is what needs to happen now and if it means a 'pay off' or even 'gardening leave', it should be done 'for the greater good' :ayatollah:

A problem is that Bulet keeps telling everyone they're shite as well. Can you imagine working in a job and your manager telling everyone he's going to replace you, hope much effort do you think you'd put in......

We need a player to stand up and take responsibility, get foot on the ball and drive us forward. Too many players hiding during games

Is he wrong?! Clearly f*cking not.
It’s not the players fault, it’s the management prior to Bulut coming in. Signing L1 level shite. They’re just not going to cut it at championship level.

I know if someone said that to me I’d say along the lines of “I appreciate you’re saying that gaffer, however I think you’re wrong, and I’m going to prove you wrong.”

This is where the glaring lack of leaders in this team come up!

Last ten games its been something like scored 8 conceded 20 goals .
If you cant score dont conceded nether is happening.

THEY ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH !!!!!

We have bought too many sub-championship gambles for three seasons and it has caught up with us.

Pep or Klopp couldn't change WIntle's (fine player and character) first instinct of retaining possession by passing back or sidewards rather than gambling on the riskier forward pass, he just is programmed to do that as that is what he is. Father time is catching up with Ralls and Siopis is finding this is a tough league (hopefully the weather improves soon)

Collins, Tanner & Etete are struggling at this level. I guess Miete was bought as a utility sub and Bowler is a hit or miss winger. Colwill hasn't any weapons to aim at. Its an 18 month plan

Bulut needs to sign a 2-year extension and PLAN for next season's assault. Great if we can get the Serbian kid as he gets a five-month feeler

In fairness we haven't bought anyone for 3 windows. We have just signed players (for the most part) who nobody else wants & there's a reason nobody wants them.

Do we have any concrete evidence for saying “one player causing unrest”??
I assume it might be Robinson, who is a player that I have little time for puerely on football grounds - Lack of effort, complains and contribute little. But I would not accuse him of causing unrest as I have no evidence of that. :?:
Who do you think is the “bad apple” and why.?

Tan and the board are bad at communications with fans AND now with the manager.
No wonder this manager is getting fed up with the attitude of our board.
This manager managed a team in the champions league and that was what tan and the board thought.

BUT
This manager needs a helping hand from the board and owner in funds since he has never stepped foot in this league before us and so far has done a pretty good job despite the lack of knowledge in this league. Tan needs to give him a contract in order for players to want to come to us otherwise players will think why should i join when i dont know who is the manager next season.
It's all up to tan and the board and as fans we cant really trust the board due to the poor communication skills they have with engaging with fans and the manager.

I understand the views of the squad not being good enough, but this is the exact same squad that was pulling off decent results earlier in the season the players haven’t changed. I’m not taking the fatigue excuse as we’ve had ample rest periods recently. Yes Ramsey is missing and o’dowda but they didn’t play much anyway. Something is going on in the background 100% I can take losing as long as effort and some sort of direction/philosophy/effort is shown but there is literally nothing left. I don’t know if we’ve been spoilt over the years but today’s game we would 8/9 times out of 10 get the 3 points. Even Slade guided us to a 7th place finish!

Slade had Marshall, Hudson, Manga, Turner, Connolly, Whits, Ralls, Gunnar, noone, Zohore Pilkington and Tom Lawrence

That team would destroy this lot !!!!!! 5-0 without breaking sweat

Bullutt sucks the confidence out of players..
