nobby said it first; but personally, I hope he stays to see the job out...
It's not like the club are not trying to get people in; but we must remember that we are still one hand tied behind our backs with FFP and one well-paid player not budging...
What would be great is a '
statement of intent' from the top that holds value rather than the usual sand of recent times...!

The football is some of the worst I have witnessed in 40 years. Can't work out our style of play, can't score goals from open play. Players going through the motions with not enough effort and desire for the shirt. The fans turned today and you can't blame them. Some of these players are stealing a living. Manager doesn't impress me too negative with no plan B.

I wonder if Bulut was told this at the start?

Still don't get the FFP reasoning.
Do we need to get rid of our high earners? We have Ramsey, Robinson, and Ralls and that's about it and they are hardly top earnings in the league.

The report in words...Cardiff City: Erol Bulut 'not happy with many things' and 'doesn't know' if he will stay onBBCCardiff City boss Erol Bulut said he could leave the Championship club as he is "
not happy with many things" and "
doesn't know" if he wants to stay on unless the club make signings.
A 3-1 defeat at Plymouth has seen Cardiff slip to 14th in the table, six points off the play-off places.
Bulut has called for signings for weeks and has now said he is considering his future with the club.
"
I am not happy with many things," he told BBC Radio Wales Sport.
"
So is it about me and I have to decide about myself and the future with the club, I will make a decision about that.
"I have to maybe make a decision for myself on how my future will go with the club, because I came here to change some things in a positive way.
"I don't know (if will continue until the end of the season), I don't know."Cardiff named former Fenerbahce boss Bulut as their manager in June but he is warning that signings this January are integral as to whether he will remain with the club.
"
From my side I can tell you that some things have to change. If not, [it is] not possible to continue like that."
When asked, '
what has to change?' he replied: "
Everything."
Bulut says he will have discussions with the Cardiff board and seek assurances signings are coming, but says the the Bluebirds will struggle without reinforcements.
"
I will speak to the board clearly about everything that has to change," he said.
"
We now have two weeks until the next game and I think from now everything can change.
"I don't know about signings. I spoke about that. We are too late with many things.
"We tried to change many things, but alone you cannot do nothing.
"So we have to make many changes and if this is not changing, we will have big problems until the end of the season.
"Everyone knows (we need players), I know it, the board knows it, the fans know it, all of us, we know it.
"We have worked hard to come to this position… until now we've only been three points off the play-offs, but now we cannot speak about the play-offs, now we must speak about different things.
"If we don't get signings? We will have to fight with what we have, but we will have hard weeks and months in front of us."
Cardiff's players were booed by their travelling fans at Home Park and Bulut said he understood the frustration.
"
I can understand the frustration of the fans, I am frustrated also," he added.
"
But I have some things in my hands to change something and some things I don't have in my hands to change it."

Every transfer window there is an excuse though..we’ve just released 5 players without replacing any of them??
Tan said only a few weeks ago he would back the manager and once again when the going gets tough our chairman and ceo have gone awol rather than face the supporters
10 days to go so all is not lost so fingers crossed

Dalman the Politician is not pulling the wool over Erols eyes.
We need to replace the whole of the midfield,a replacement for Collins.
plus two strikers.
Fair play to Erol he says it as it is.

Not sure he wouldn't have been made aware; more likely 'sold the dream' by Mehmet Dalman
I think (reading the interview above) it's more a case of frustration that his preferred targets weren't gotten over the line in early January. As said by myself and others, personal terms were agreed before 1st January but one has moved elsewhere and the other being touted out by his club...
Going to be an interesting week but I feel he'll stay until the season's end with a couple of new players and then everyone can review...

I think Bulut will walk in the morning
Then no decent manager would join us due to the board
Then we wont spend any money
Then the squad will end up losing so much confidence that we as a team will be looking towards relegation AGAIN
then all the good work that bulut has done will be undone
and we will be struggling at the bottom

I doubt we will be in a relegation fight.
I just feel the board want Bulut to walk. If he does then someone within will step up and see the season out. In the meantime a new manager will be hunted with promises of funds in the summer.

I hope the next manager isn't the guy that had one defender on the pitch against Sheff Wed FFS

I have seen so much worse than this in my 31 years so not sure what you have seen.
It's obvious now that the issue is not the mangers its the leadership above or in our case lack of. The communication from Dalman as a major owner and chairman is terrible. Tan isn't interested or has been in many years.
Hoping Bulut stays he has genuine quality, potential as a young manager. Contacts have been proven already with no money

Bakedalasker, you say you doubt we'll be in a relegation battle. We'll we are 13 pts outside the relegation zone. There are 18 games left and on our current form we will struggle to hit the magic 50 pts safety target. If one of Sheffield Wednesday or QPR suddenly pick up for they could quite easily catch us up and send us down, so don't dismiss us getting into a relegation battle if we don't get some reinforcements in before the window shuts
