Can anyone honestly say there is one player in our team that is a leader and shows it by setting an example with fight and passion and can be a role model for the the rest who bollox people who are not showing bright,. One answer not one!

plenty of captains not enough quality its not the sake of not trying or talking its just the players we have aint good enough to push the play offs the difference between us and the top 6 in quality is massive

That is your opinion, mate. Personally I wouldn't have Ralls or NG anywhere near the captains armband. Ralls has been a great servant, but his body/legs are letting him down. I'd rather have Goutas if his English was better. Ramsey is the obvious choice, but he's currently injured and the team is lacking a warrior like Sean Morrison or Aron Gunnarson out on that pitch.

There's about 6 in the squad. Problem is lack of play makers and a striker. Same as last year.

There are players with leadership qualities, the problem is that they are injured (Ramsey), potentially not wrong enough language wise (Goutas) or even Ralls (problem here is that he seems to be a bit negative with his sideways of backwards stuff these days)

There’s a few that are captain material but none of whom I would consider a leader. In the trenches, motivating and instilling belief. I notice Colwill becoming more vocal and pointing. Which is good because we are not a team of talkers I notice. Not like many of our opponents who I observe and actually hear from the front of the Canton. And yes Morrison Bamba Gunnarsson the last of our true on field leaders

I was just pointing out that there are potential 'captains' but agree with your post in general...

I assume captains means leaders.....Not sure why the captain role is so highly coveted by some fans. It is an internal role and I assume Ralls, Rambo or O'Dowda are pretty experienced and good at that. On the pitch call heads or tails, and i few words with the ref......

Lets be honest do anyone think this team would be in the top 2 or even the L1 playoffs positions?

We have no captain off the field neither do we have a captain on the field that’s why our ship is sinking not sailing ,we to soft and kind and show teams to much respect there’s no fight in this team we just seem to roll over far to easy .

one big issue is the "standard captain" has changed in recent years, used to have someone vocal who could marshal the team, Arsenal had Viera, Xhaka, Adams etc, now its Oodergard (spelling) United had Keane, Rio, Vidic etc, now its Bruno. all quiet guys,
