The Hierarchy and Bulut

Mon Jan 22, 2024 10:42 am

I’m so fed up with ‘fans’ having a go at Bulut.

Considering his short time here he has done well. For sure recently form and results have been bad but considering he inherited a weak squad, many players on loan or frees and our 2 best players missing nearly all season, a number of our better players being overplayed out of necessity, and a damaging 3 window transfer embargo, what did people expect?

We won our 2 derbies, sent our younger lads out on loan and voiced enthusiasm and put forward a plan going ahead. However, this has all be undone again by the empty promises made yet again by the hierarchy. We cannot move forward by chopping and changing managers, not buying better quality players, not having a football man on the board and having 2 losers like Chesterfield and Purse in charge of our youngsters.

I cannot understand the joy that the club gives to the hierarchy when they have no support or acclaim from the fan base. And please don’t let people say we don’t know what’s going on behind the scenes. We have a disgruntled manager and the atmosphere in the club will be very down. What also doesn’t help is people like I Governor saying players are coming in etc. Above all, Dalman should show some empathy and respect to the supporters by speaking openly and informing us of what’s going on.

At present Tan and Dalman’s negative and unprofessional approach does nobody any favours.

You are spot on regarding igovernor saying we are signing this player and that player (Keiffer Moore)he is giving false hopes to people on this forum and should give it a rest.

There's things I agree with, and disagree with in your post.

After the Leeds game I wad very much one of the people that was "Everyone is posting negative stuff etc etc" BUT, having seen what's been said by Bulut, I can't blame people for the negativity. One thing to note I think is that most people are not against Bulut, it is more about how the club is ran, false promises from Dalman, Tan yet again failing to back the manager, and a general worry that the board will cause us to lose Bulut.

KM was on the radar of Bulut, he said it himself. Rog and I don't see eye to eye with the transfer rumours but in his defense Bulut did confirm his interest. The board are yet to back Bulut it seems

The strange part is bulut says we couldn't afford beketatas ages ago so what is different with moore? He is just as expensive as beketatas is! The whole saga is confusing as is his statement.
